Virtual Radar Setup with Pi

I’m not sure if I have the settings wrong, but I cannot get my Pi to display using Virtual Radar. The statistics page show a small amount of bytes received, but all the rest is zeroes.

My Pi is currently 10.10.10.80 on the local network and I have it port-forwarded on the internet through 8080. I can see Flight Aware’s view using 10.0.0.80:8080

Here are the settings I’m using on Virtual Server:

Format: AVR or Beast Raw Feed
Connection type: Network
Address: 10.10.10.80
Port: 8080

Am I missing something? I tried the Virtual Radar forums but haven’t had any replies.

Thanks!

Try port 30005.

That definitely did something.

The bytes received is increasing steadily and now I have values for Read buffer size: 8520 and Throughput: 0.73 KB/sec
But, still no messages or aircraft tracked after about 30 minutes.

Use Format: Basestation
Port: 30003
