RTC Clocks for Raspberry Pi (mainly Pi2 and Pi3)

When I bought my Pi 2 Model B in 2015, I bought the PiFace RTC clock shim from MCM Electronics because I wanted the Pi2 to keep time without it always being on UTC time. By the looks of it, it never really worked. Recently when setting up PiAware 3.1.0, I would get invalid argument setting up the “echo > new_device” line (shortened for laziness), so I just decided to take that off the Pi, and buy a new one. I bought this, the SunFounder DS3231 RTC, and it works! And after following instructions on how to set it up completely, it now saves and keeps time through reboots. (Also used the sudo time zone select as well, then systohc)
