It started raining like hell here so i immediately opened my dump1090 screen to see what’s going on in the air. And immediately i saw what was missing here, plotting planes on weather maps. Has anyone tried that yet?
End of last year I stumbled over this (github.com/Ysurac/FlightAirMap), shortly tried to install it and get it running but hit some issues.
Just noticed that there are some updates made to the install scripts since then by the author. On the GitHub link there is also a link to a running setup from the author.
Maybe you can give it a try and report on your success?
