My setup is the Flightaware dongle feeding a PC running Dump1090 and PlanePlotter. I have master users status and PlanePlotter reports that my station is set up for MLAT.
When I feed the Flightaware site it reports:
Feeder Type: PlanePlotter
Multilateration (MLAT): Receiver Not Supported
Is this something I have set incorrectly or is my setup not suitable to feed Flightaware MLAT?

Planeplotter MALT and FA MLAT are different animals
When you set up you RPi, these are the changes in PlanePlotter:
stop processing
Options/ I/O setting / Input Data / Select RTL > RPi + dump1090
Options / Mode-S Receiver / RTL Dongle RPi dump1090 / Setup TCP client / xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:30005
