MLAT on flightaware flightfeeder

hello is it possible to have MLAT on flightaware feeder
whats the need to have a pi ?

@Khoosham,

It says your flight feeder doesn’t support it.
Feeder Type: FlightFeeder 6.4
Multilateration (MLAT): Receiver Not Supported
(I looked at a few other flightfeeders and they say the same thing. Maybe a code upgrade is required).
This page says you just need flightfeeder >6.0
flightaware.com/adsb/mlat/

Anither supporting website says that MLAT is supported flightaware.com/adsb/flightfeeder/
Have you tried running the upgrade commands from your webpage?

There are 2 other feeders on the island, however, I believe that you need 4 most of the time.
Double check that you have enabled MLAT on your FA webpage flightaware.com/adsb/stats/user/Khoosham
Also, you need to have an accurate location configured. You can get this from a GPS unit(handheld or phone) or by using google or yahoo maps ans zooming into your location.

The current flightfeeder software does not support mlat yet; there will be a software update at some point to add that.

They really should update the information pages with this information.

These say 6.0 is required

yes the info page should be updated that a software upgrade will be available soon to support mlat
