I’m recieving 100 messages a second. Is that optimal?
And how should I know if I need to increase the height of my antenna…?
100 messages/second is good. Really good sites can see up to 600 messages/second or even more. A lot of it is just dependent on how many aircraft are in your area at any given time. Check out your stats page: flightaware.com/adsb/stats/user/saiskandapgs Your range looks good in that you’re seeing aircraft 150-200 miles out but not a lot (most of your aircraft seen are less than 50 miles out). Your pattern is roughly equal in all directions so you probably don’t have any major close obstructions. I recommend trying to place the antenna higher, that will probably make the biggest impact and increase you range. You can also browse other sites in your area and look at their stats to see how you compare.
